In the south of Gili Meno we have time for snorkeling and to explore the island. It is the smallest of the three islands, very quiet and friendly. It takes about two hours to go around it by foot. We can visit the turtle sanctuary with its little pools on the beach, teeming with baby turtles. Surrounded by coral reefs the Gilis provide colorful underwater world with turtles, manta rays, clown fish, and countless species of colorful fish.  Gili Air was the first island to be settled by fishing families. Coconut plantations and fishing are still important for the local economy. The beaches here are the best of the Gili bunch as well as the snorkeling sites , they can be easily reached from the shores of the white sandy beaches.

On the west of Lombok Senggigi is some of the most beautiful scenery on this trip. Lombok is a colorful mixture of Balinese, Chinese and Arab influences.
