Day 1 Amsterdam – Canal Tour £21
You will be picked up at the ship for an impressive tour through the beautiful canals of Amsterdam, capital ofHolland. You will see the Anne Frank House, the famous Magere Brug (Skinny bridge), the Westertoren and the beautiful houses and buildings dating back from the Golden Age.
Day 2 Dordrecht Zeeland & Delta Works £38
From Dordrecht you can join our excursion which brings you to the province of Zeeland. We will show you the famous Delta Works, that were built to protect the lower areas in the Netherlands against flooding. TheDelta Works are a series of huge structures that protect the Dutch provinces of South-Holland, North-Brabant and Zeeland against high North Sea tides and storms. We will visit the exhibition centre Neeltje Jans where you can learn about this unique piece of civil engineering.
Day 3 Brussels City tour £33
Today you can join our grand city tour through Brussels, capital of Belgium. We board our comfortable coach and drive along the magnificent St. Michaels’ cathedral towards the world-famous Atomium, the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese tower. Via the Royal residence of Laeken and the Royal St Mary’s church and the impressive Court of Justice, we drive to the stately Place Royale and the Royal Palace. Then we drive back to the city center where we will walk to Brussels’ beautiful Grand’ Place. Our guide tells us the history of the unique city hall and the splendid guild houses.
During our tour we will visit one of the best chocolatiers in town and you see how our famous chocolate is actually produced. Ample opportunity to sample various chocolates and to purchase.
Day 4 Antwerp City tour £30
During this tour you will get a good impression of Antwerp, famous for its fashion and diamonds. You will be picked up at the ship for a city tour by bus. We will see the characterful neighborhoods Eiland, Quartier Latin & Zuid. Then you will continue by foot with the guide for a nice short walk through the historic center from the Scheldekade to the beautiful surroundings of the Grand Place.
Day 5 Ghent Excursion to Bruges £55
Our destination today is one of the most beautiful towns in Europe “Bruges”. Upon arrival you will be guided through the well preserved historical center, which is listed as UNESCO World Heritage. After this tour you can spend your time to your liking: enjoy a boat trip along the beautiful canals, visit one of its museums, shop for lace, or taste the excellent Belgium “cuisine” and chocolates.
Day 6 Rotterdam Excursion to Delft & the Hague £35
From Rotterdam it is possible to make an excursion to the beautiful cities Delft & The Hague. The tour will start with a visit to a `Delft Blue´ pottery, where you can admire the hand painted Delftware. We continue our tour to The Hague, the seat of the Dutch Government, where we will make a sightseeing tour. We will pass highlights like the Houses of Parliament and the Peace Palace.
Day 7 Amsterdam Excursion to Volendam & Marken £38
Today you can join our excursion to the picturesque fishermen’s villages Volendam and Marken. Through typical Dutch scenery we drive to Volendam for a city walk and tehn continue to the traditional village of Marken, situated on the shores of the former Zuiderzee. This tour also includes a visit to a cheese factory/museum or a clogmaker.
