At Seafarer we endeavour to respect the natural environment in which we sail as well as the laws, people and culture of the countries visited. We actively promote the history and culture of our host countries and endeavour to contribute to the local economy so as to ensure that the holidays we promote are beneficial to the countries and communities visited.
We try to encourage use of local suppliers and personnel where possible, whilst also minimising the environmental impact though modern technology. For example, all Variety Cruises vessels have on board waste treatment systems to avoid polluting the sea with waste. Furthermore, the smaller size of these cruise vessels and the smaller passenger numbers, ensures that the social and environmental impact on some of the small communities visited is minimal.
In all these ways, we are hopefully contributing towards the goal of ensuring that these beautiful and largely unspoilt areas and communities are there to be enjoyed by future generations.
We aim to communicate with you electronically where possible saving unnecessary use of paper, hence we will email you your holiday confirmation invoice and some of your pre- departure information and even your holiday satisfaction questionnaire.
