Day 1 Basel City tour £30
End your cruise in style and join our last excursion of this trip and explore Basel by bus. A guide will inform you about what you see. On our tour through the city centre we will cross the Rhine several times and have a glorious view of the well-preserved Old Town. You will pass the town gates, the university, City Hall and various museums. The tour ends with a short walk from the Kunstmuseum via Münsterplatz to the Pfalz, the viewing platform high above the Rhine.
Day 2 Strasbourg City tour £32
Accompanied by a guide you will make a city tour by bus through Strasbourg. You will see various highlights such as the synagogue, the residential area and the building of the United Nations. Then the guide will take you for a walk along the Gutenbergplatz to the historic center. There you have free time to explore to visit the Cathedral for example. Then the bus will bring you to the ship.
Day 3 Mannheim Excursion by coach to Heidelberg £38
From Mannheim you can join the excursion to Heidelberg, Germany’s oldest university town and one of the country’s most endearing small cities, famous for its historical centre and the beautiful castle set in a stunning location overlooking the main square. In the castle’s wine cellar lies the biggest wine barrel in the world with a capacity of 221.726 litres and another impressive sight is the Alte Brücke, the ancient bridgeacross the River Neckar. After a tour through the castle with a guide, the bus will take you to the centre where you have some time to explore on your own, before returning to the ship.
Day 4 Rüdesheim Tour by road train £14
You will be picked up at the ship with a small train. This train gives you a tour through the vineyards near Rüdesheim and takes you to the center. There you have some leisure time to explore the town on your own and return back to the ship by train again.

You can also expand this tour with a visit to the music cabinet where you get a tour along the many wonderful self playing musical instruments.

Day 5 Koblenz Excursion to Bad Ems £30
You will start this trip with a guided bus tour through the city of Koblenz. After Koblenz we drive through the beautiful Lahn Valley to the Baroque spa town of Bad Ems. On our way the bus passes a beautiful Russian Orthodox church. In Bad Ems you’ll make a short walk along the mineral springs and the Casino. There is also the possibility to sit on a terrace at the Lahnpromenade to taste the fine wines and the traditional “Flammkuchen.”
Day 6 Cologne City tour £26
You will be picked up at the ship for a city tour by bus through the 2000 year old history of this Roman city. Led by a English speaking guide you will see various sights such as Cologne’s city wall, the Hahnetor and Glockengasse. We will make a short photo stop at the Hohenzoller Brucke. When we arrive at the Dom you’ll have the opportunity to make a city walk with the guide or you can return by bus to the Switzerland II.
Day 7 Amsterdam Excursion to Volendam & Marken £38

Today you can join our excursion to the picturesque fishermen’s villages Volendam and Marken. Through typical Dutch scenery we drive to Volendam for a city walk and tehn continue to the traditional village of Marken, situated on the shores of the former Zuiderzee. This tour also includes a visit to a cheese factory/museum or a clogmaker.
Canal Tour £21
You will be picked up at the ship for an impressive tour through the beautiful canals of Amsterdam, capital of Holland. You will see the Anne Frank House, the famous Magere Brug (Skinny bridge), the Westertoren and the beautiful houses and buildings dating back from the Golden Age.
